In 2003, I formed the Salem Trumpet Ensemble with 11 students and took them to Denver, CO to perform at the International Trumpet Guild Conference. This was an unbelievable experience for both my students and myself.  It was an amazing opportunity for my students to perform for such an incredible audience, and to be able to hear many of the world's greatest trumpet players live.  I hope to take another group to the 2013 ITG confernce in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Please check out our Denver performance from 2004, and feel free to email me with comments or questions.  A big thank you to Lewis Norfleet for his wonderful composition, Hall of Trumpets, written specifically for this event.   Listen to their performance.
